PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Principal's Message (27-08-2012)
Greeting & warm wishes to all the parents. It’s a pleasure to get in touch with all the esteemed parents of Vani Vidyalaya through this column.
At the outset I wish to record that the academic activities are being implemented very efficiently. As usual co-scholastic activities are also happening with equal vigour. I also add that the safety precautions in school are very much in place and there is a system followed for dispersal of classes I to V which all the parents of primary section are familiar with.
Using this opportunity I wish to request the parents of classes VI to XII that the vehicles dropping students of these classes should be stopped outside the school compound and that these students should pick up the bag and walk inside the school.
Parents of Pre KG to class V can bring their vehicles inside the school compound and drop their children near the rope. However we request you to leave immediately after dropping the children. Please avoid waiting near the entrance/ any discussion or giving a flying kiss.
Parents sending their ward in private vehicles please ensure that the child is picked up from the school at the right time.
We are also planning to stagger the departure timing of classes VI to VIII by five to ten minutes with effect from 03.09.2012. Information in this regard will be given on 01.09.2012 by the class teacher.
We invite the parents to interact with teachers handling subjects on working Saturdays between 12.00 noon and 1.30 pm. This message is also given in the handbook. As a new development we have introduced CCE in the academic year 2012 – 13 for classes I to V also. Communication in this regard has been made earlier. We request the parents to visit our website for information regarding tools and parameters, subject-wise for classes I to V.
A general request to all the parents from Pre K.G to class XII
Please note that attendance of children is important. On working days, a child should be able to attend the full day (i.e.) all the periods except in case of sickness of the child or any other emergency. It is inappropriate to seek one hour permission either in the morning or in the afternoon since the students are marked attendance both in morning and afternoon. When a child is marked present the child should be physically present in the campus, except when the child falls sick unexpectedly and requires to go home. Please avoid asking for permission except in case of emergency.
We continue in the cause of education with sincerity and devotion. Principal.
Principal's Message (23-04-2013)
Dear Parents, Greetings and wishes from Vani Vidyalaya. Another academic year has begun; our children have grown one step further successfully and along with them our school too has grown. With happiness I share the news that the competent authority of CBSE has granted affiliation to CBSE-i classes from 2013-14 to our school. As a first step we are granted affiliation for classes I,II and III.
We also had the opportunity of hosting the faculty training for cbse-i on 19-3-13 and 20-3-13 in our school. It was certainly a moment of prestige, pride and pleasure when the revered Chairman of CBSE and esteemed Professor and Director Dr. Sadana Parasar, along with other Educational officers conducted the faculty training in our school campus. Teachers from several schools participated in the training, which was launched by CBSE Chairman by lighting the lamp.
As goes the legendary saying it was a small step but a giant leap for Vani Vidyalaya. Parents ofstudents studying in our school who are eligible for Class I,II and III can approach the office for transfer to CBSE-i, if they are interested. I take this opportunity to assure the parents in general that the qualitative services rendered by us would continue for both CBSE and CBSE-i. Education is the first call of mankind and our efforts to bring it to all continues now and forever. Aruna Appasamy.
