Our school marked Van Mahotsav on July 7th with great enthusiasm, focusing on the vital role of
tree planting. The event began with a thought-provoking speech on the significance of trees,
while the noticeboard displayed impactful eco-slogans that encouraged awareness and
responsibility toward nature.
The highlight of the day was the engaging performances by Class IX students, who presented a
Therukoothu and a mime act. Their creative expressions powerfully conveyed the message of
protecting and nurturing trees, inspiring everyone to take part in building a greener
world.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025-26 was held with great pomp and dignity .
The event marked a significant beginning for the newly elected student council, who were
formally entrusted with their responsibilities.
The newly elected School Pupil Leader, Cultural Secretary, Sports Secretary, House Captains ,
Vice Captains, House Mistresses, and Vice House Mistresses marched in with pride and confidence.
They were conferred with badges by the Principal and Vice Principal,Admin. Oath-taking ceremony
followed, where the council members pledged to uphold the values and principles of the school
and to carry out their duties with sincerity and dedication..
The Principal congratulated the office bearers and motivated them to be exemplary role models
for their peers..
The Investiture Ceremony was a memorable occasion that celebrated the spirit of leadership and
responsibility, instilling a sense of pride and purpose among the students.

Orientation workshop on I.I.M.U.N , led by esteemed
guest speaker Ms. Aksharaa , was an engaging and
informative session that focused on empowering students
with essential life skills. Through an interactive
PowerPoint presentation, she shared information about
the upcoming I. I. M. U. N competition in CASA GRAND
International School from 25th to 27th of July. She
also explained about the training which will be given to
interested students a month earlier for expertise .
Students gained insight about different Committees in
which they could participate during the competition.
They were made aware about the importance of knowledge
on global issues , teamwork and leadership qualities.
They also had the opportunity to ask questions and
engage in discussions, making the workshop a huge
success

Personality Development and Public Speaking Workshop, led by esteemed guest speaker Ms. Vidhya
Shankar, was an engaging and informative session that focused on empowering students with
essential life skills. Through an interactive PowerPoint presentation, she shared her expertise
on various aspects of personality development and public speaking.
Class VII and VIII students gained valuable insights into the importance of positive attitude,
effective communication, teamwork, goal setting, and leadership qualities. They also had the
opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions, making the workshop a huge success.
The workshop was designed to inspire our students to become confident and articulate
individuals, equipped with the skills necessary to excel in their personal and professional
lives. ACTION DnA's "Teens to Super Teens" and "Kids to Super Kids" courses were showcased
during the workshop, highlighting the organization's commitment to nurturing young talent.

TEMPLE: Shri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal kovil, MGR nagar.
To emphasize the importance of mental well-being alongside academic preparation, our school
organized a temple visit for class X & XII board appearing students to seek blessings, relieve
stress and to get mental clarity. The class teachers and subject teachers accompanied the
students.A special prayer was conducted for the success of students. Students offered prayers
and participated in chanting.The visit proved to be a much- needed break from the rigorous
academic schedule.

A "Happy Classroom" for primary students is a learning environment where students feel
supported, respected, and excited to learn, characterized by positive interactions, active
engagement, a sense of community, and fun activities that cater to their developmental needs,
allowing them to thrive academically and emotionally.
A PPT presentation on ‘HAPPY CLASSROOM’ impacted a positive learning environment, promoting
students’ engagement and supporting academic success was made by Ms.VIMALA,Primary
Co-ordinator.The session covered the key elements of a happy classroom, strategies for
implementation and benefits for students. A Happy Classroom helps students develop emotional
awareness, empathy and self-regulation Skills. The teacher also highlighted in her PPT that
students should understand that bullying is an aggressive behavior.By treating others with
respect and care , classrooms will become comfortable, calm and conducive environment for
learning.On the whole, it was an interactive and captivating session. Children were excited and
exhibited a great zeal.

Our school hosted the launch of CLOBAS Mobile App. The event was commenced by Dr.Aruna Appasamy.
Director, Meenakshi Group of Institutions who expressed enthusiasm about the potential impact of
the new app on students’ academic journey. Mrs.Vidhyavathi, Principal presented the welcome
speech. According to School Quality Assessment And Assurance Framework, Ms.Radhai (m/o
B.Deepthika IV G) class representative in PTA was invited to initiate the login of Clobas App.
The team including Mr.Mageshwaran, Zonal Manager-Sales, Mr.Arunachalam-Tech support manager,
Mrs. Mahalakshmi & Mr.Leenesh- Tech support executives gave an over view of the app through a
live demo highlighting its features, and demonstrated how it can be used to support students'
academic and personal development. The app was particularly well-received by parents, who
expressed enthusiasm about having more visibility into their children’s academic lives. The
ability to monitor progress and receive timely updates was seen as a valuable tool for enhancing
home-school collaboration. The Mobile App Launch event was a resounding success with the
valuable feedback gathered from parents.

The guest lecture was led by esteemed guest speaker Mr. Ravi, Resource person from a renowned institution. This lecture aimed to enhance students' understanding and provide insights into all chapterwise concepts, including numericals, time management strategies, common mistakes to avoid and tips for scoring well for the upcoming board exams. The interactive session allowed students to ask questions and clarify the doubts.Students found the lecture highly beneficial and an enriching experience.

program on stress management for Class 10 students .Our school Student counsellors-
Mrs.PadmaPriya and Mrs.Booma Krishnakumari advocated the strategies to overcome stress and

The programme began with National Anthem followed by welcome address by School Pupil Leader, Master .Kesavan,XI . The Tricolor Flag was unfurled by honorable Director, Dr.Aruna Appasamy,Meenakshi Group of Institutions.Following the ceremony, patriotic song was sung by students of class VII & VIII. To reinforce commitment to the nation,Pledge was taken.March Past by students of class VIII showcased discipline. Sahana ,VIII presented welcome speech.Veer Katha was presented by Kanishka,VIII and Tamil Speech was rendered by Pooja,VIII. Spectacular dance performance and Tamil patriotic song made the day a special one. Master.JaiDharshan,XII, Assistant Sports Secretary rendered vote of thanks.National Anthem was the final rendition marking a memorable day of unity and patriotism.

Pongal, the traditional harvest festival, was enthusiastically celebrated at our school. Folk dances were performed by students in classes 6, 7, and 8. Villupaatu was sung by students in grades 7, 8, and 9. Our rich past was emphasised by martial arts like as Ilavattakal, Silambam, Puliaatam, and wrestling matches. "Pongalo..Pongal" was chanted during the Pongal preparations to represent wealth and prosperity.

Mathematics expo was organised at Vani Vidyalaya senior secondary and Junior College West K.K
.Nagar on 10th January 2025. Dr Aruna Appasamy-Director Meenakshi group of schools felicitated
the chief guest of the day, Dr .S .Prabhu Shankar -Associate Professor and Head, Department of
Education and Controller of Examinations. Principal Vani Vidyalaya Mrs A. Vidhyavathi welcomed
the guest to the expo.
The expo was in relating creative ideas of children to the learning of Mathematics. It
provided opportunities for the students to go beyond the classroom learning of Mathematical
concepts and principles. The students experienced the true practical value of mathematics and
the potential applications of classroom learning of mathematics to daily life situation.

In memory of Late Shri A.N. Radhakrishnan, Managing Trustee of Meenakshi Ammal Trust, Founder’s Day was celebrated on 3rd December 2024. A heartfelt homage was paid to the founder with an Audio & Visual on the journey and the development of Meenakshi Ammal group of institutions. Guest lecture on ‘Transformative teacher of 21st century’ was delivered by Ms. Padmini Shriraman, National level awardee. The Director, Meenakshi group of schools welcomed the guest speaker and Principal, Vani Vidyalaya honoured her.

Van Mahotsav, celebrated during the first week of July, is a special event focused on tree planting and environmental awareness. Initiated in 1950, this day encourages students to participate in planting trees and learning about the importance of forests. The celebration highlights the role of trees in combating climate change and promoting a healthier environment.

Parents Meeting for Class 10 was held on 12.04.25 in the school premises. The meeting began with Invocation, welcome address by the Vice Principal Admin, Ms.Akila . Ms.Priya , School Psychologist presented the PPT on career guidance and mobile deaddiction .This was followed by inspiring speech given by our Director mam , Dr. Aruna Appasamy . She was insisting on punctuality, discipline, maintaining good rapport with the friends . To conclude the session Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms.Dalya HOD Social Department . On the whole the session ended up with valuable insights, guidance given by our honourable Director Mam.
