I joined Vani Vidyalaya as a shy young adolescent into the 8th grade back in 2009. With
the help of
our class faculty and of course the new friends that I made, I blossomed into a young
enthusiastic
adult ready to take on the world. I will always remember our school teachers for their
hands on
approach and personal attention to each student, realising that everyone is different,
nurturing our
own strengths and acknowledging our downfalls. With their help I was able to realise my
own flair
for oration and leadership, was able to push myself to participate in a number of
elocution and
debate competitions, even winning a few of them. Throughout my years at Vani Vidyalaya
the faculty
and administration have held my hand and guided me through all my academic and
extracurricular
ventures within and outside the school premises.
I was encouraged, and subsequently nominated by my faculty and friends for the school
student body
elections which ignited my democratic fervour. It was an honour to serve as the
Assistant School
Pupil Leader during my latter years at Vani Vidyalaya.
I will always remember the tough but sweet love and tutoring given to all students,
including me, to
pursue academic excellence, with the early morning tests and late afternoon extra
coaching,
allowing me to excel in my academic pursuits. I was able to score a perfect 10.0 CGPA in
my 10th
board exams and an aggregate of 95% in my 12th board examinations as a result of all of
our efforts.
I passed out of Vani Vidyalaya in 2014 to pursue my MBBS at Meenakshi Medical College
Hospital and
Research Institute with the support of my family, and furthermore was able to crack the
dubious
NEET PG in 2021 and attained an All India Rank of 120. This allowed me to pursue my Post
graduation
at Maulana Azad medical College, New Delhi, one the of the top institutions in the
country. And after a
gruelling residency I have finally become a paediatrician, ready to tackle the health
requirements of
the children in our country and give back to the community.
I will always remember Vani Vidyalaya; the campus, the faculty and staff, and all the
friends I made
along the way. I do hope to keep returning to the institute to catch up with everyone as
I regularly do
so every few years, and will always be proud to be an alumni of this prime
school.
I have just graduated this year after completing my Masters in MD
Pediatrics from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and always
fondly remember my school days and the path that was paved by my
family and faculty.
